July 20th, 2011 - NEW MUSIC VIDEO
We are so confident of our new music video that we still decided to release it the same day as one of the biggest movies of the year.
It was really fun to make (from what we remember) and we hope that you enjoy it!

December 19, 2011 - NEW DEMO ONLINE!
The new demo is now online, go to our MUSIC page to get all 6 songs for FREE, yes, FREE.
The music for this demo was recorded "live" in our practice space, all tracks were recorded at the same time. We then did the vocals separately and then everything was mixed in Pro Tools. We're really happy with how they sound for not being recorded "properly" and we hope that you enjoy them as well.
This demo will be a preview of the full length that we will be working on to get out sometime next year, hopefully sooner than later.
We would also like to send out a big thanks to everyone that came out to the show on Saturday, we had a great time and can't wait to do it again.

December 17th, 2011 - SHOW TONIGHT AND NEW DEMO!
Yes, that is correct, we are playing tonight at the Racers Edge in East Moline, IL AND will have new demos available for FREE!
These new demos will be a preview of what is to come on the next full length album that will be out sometime next year. A few rougher versions of these songs are in the music player right now, so give them a listen.

August 11th, 2011 - A long overdue update
We have a show coming up on August 20th at Racers Edge in East Moline. This will be a benefit show for The Edge Tattoo shop in Rock Island that was heavily damaged by a fire last month. Also performing will be Plagued By Saints and X+X, come on out and show your support! Also RSVP on the Facebook event page here.
We will also be debuting a new song at this show along with maybe a few other songs we don't play very often, and maybe a cover? You'll just have to show up and check that out.
And finally, we have a new shirt design, we are trying to find someone local to print them so hopefully we can have them by this show but thats not guaranteed. If you know someone locally that does screen printing at a reasonable price, please let us know! Until then you can check out the design below:

May 8th, 2011 - Upcoming show and recording!
First things first, we have a show coming up in less than 3 weeks at The Racers Edge in East Moline, IL. This will be commemorating 5 years of Birth Control Productions, its an ALL AGES, all day outside event with 11 bands outside with The Pimps and Human Aftertaste playing the after party inside (after party is 21+). Check out our Shows page for more information.

We are also getting ready to start recording our new CD. We got started on some very early pre-production this past week and now have 9 songs completed and have just a couple more that we're working on. We have also just bought some more recording gear and just from playing around with it in practice we can say that this next CD will sound far better than anything we've done so far, we can't wait to get some new music out for all of you!
Our newest song, tentatively titled "Burnout" will be debuted at the show on May 28th, one more reason to come on out to an already awesome show!

February 28th, 2011 - Another Update (Finally!)
We would like to start off by thanking everyone that made it out to the show at The Racers Edge in East Moline on the 19th! Thank yous are also in order for Joe Lee, The Racers Edge, Plagued By Saints, and Lock & Dam.
We are currently writing our new full length CD but still looking to do shows, so feel free to send a booking inquiry to contact@emplyfi.com.
We are also saving up money to buy better recording equipment. You can help speed up this process by purchasing songs or shirts.
We currently have 6 songs 100% completed for the new CD, 3 more in the works, and we're considering re-recording a couple songs from the Not A Replica CD.
